Fill 'er Up

Painted near the Lake LBJ Yacht Club and Marina, of the Bay Marine and Sports Center in Horseshoe Bay, Tx. This was a tough painting to do as I stood in direct sun on a dock and braved high winds which ruined my umbrella and nearly knocked my easel over! But the outcome was worth it. I love the way this painting captures a place that many can relate to, memories of being on the lake, docking at a bayside store to fill up on drinks and other summertime treats!
